Assessments
Measure of Academic Progress (MAP)
MAP tests in reading, language arts, and math, track student growth over time. Students in grades 3–12 take the MAP test twice a year—once in the fall
and once in the spring. Second-grade students participate in MAP testing each spring to serve as a baseline for their third-grade year.
Idaho Standards Achievement Test (I-SAT)
Department of Education requires all schools to administer the ISAT each April. Grades 3–8 and 11 take the English language arts and math
portions of the test. Grades 5, 8, and 11 also take the science portion. This test measures student (and district) achievement in comparison
to other students (and districts) in the state.
The SAT – SAT Suite | College Board
The SAT is no longer a graduation requirement for the state of Idaho. We offer students who are interested in taking the SAT vouchers in
March of their junior year. Students will need to find a local testing center and make arrangements to take the test.
