Technical Requirements

For the best experience from our platform, students must provide a personal computer (not a smartphone or tablet) and a reliable internet connection. Computers must meet the following requirements:

Operating System

• Windows - less than 4 years old
• Mac - less than 10 years old
• Chromebook - less than 6 years old

Web Browser

• Chrome, Firefox, or Brave (recommended)
• Safari, Edge, or Vivaldi (acceptable)

Nearly all lessons and assignments can be done on a touch device (iOS or Android, no older than 6 years). However, some assignments will require a “full” computer. Some elective technical courses that use specific software applications will require a Mac or Windows computer. Learn more in our student handbook.
